Cal Samra is one of my favorite people on this earth. He’s my mentor for aging successfully. Yes, I think he has aged successfully considering he is now 87 years old without one health problem and, most of all, with a mind and a spirit that are both healthy and robust.

Life is cyclic and renewable.
Summer. The lakes glisten under the blazing sun. The ocean teems with fish. Flowers—red, yellow, orange, pink, purple—show off their colors. The green grass, fully awakened, at last covers the once-barren ground.

Fall. Green turns to hues of brown, auburn, orange, yellow. Fallen Leaves carpet the ground as the trees humbly surrender to time.

Winter. Temperatures plummet, causing us to run for cover. Life goes under to bring about her finest work. What seems like inertia is the mystery of life in action.
